Create an email sequence

Email sequences are series of emails sent automatically at defined intervals. They are the ideal tool for welcoming new subscribers, following up after a purchase, or nurturing relationships with your contacts.

What is a sequence?#

A sequence is made up of multiple steps. Each step contains an email and a delay before the next step is sent. For example:

• Day 0: Welcome email
• Day 2: Introduction to your content
• Day 5: A useful tip
• Day 7: Product presentation

Create your first sequence#

1. Go to the Newsletters section of your dashboard
2. Click New sequence
3. Name your sequence (e.g., "Welcome")
4. Configure the settings:
   • Default delay between emails (in days)
   • Preferred send time
   • Trigger: when does the sequence start?

Triggers#

Choose what triggers a contact's enrollment in the sequence:

• Manual: you enroll contacts yourself
• Newsletter signup: when a visitor subscribes through a form
• Product purchase: after a purchase on your bio page
• Download: after downloading a lead magnet

Advanced options#

• Send the first email immediately or wait for the delay
• Weekdays only: no sending on weekends
• Targeting: send only to specific lists or tags

Adding steps#

For each step, you can:

• Write the email directly in the editor
• Set a specific delay (overrides the default delay)
• Reorder steps using drag and drop

Tip: Start with a welcome sequence of 3 to 5 emails. It's the best way to build a relationship with your new subscribers.
