Key metrics#
Open rate#
The percentage of recipients who open your email. A good open rate is between 20% and 40%.
How to improve it:
- Work on your email subject lines (short, intriguing, personalized)
- Send at consistent times
- Clean your list of inactive contacts
Click rate#
The percentage of recipients who click a link in your email. A good click rate is between 2% and 5%.
How to improve it:
- Include a single, clear, and visible CTA
- Use descriptive link text
- Place your CTA above the fold
Bounce rate#
The percentage of undelivered emails. It should stay below 5%.
Types of bounces:
- Hard bounce: invalid address (automatically removed)
- Soft bounce: full mailbox or temporarily unavailable server
Complaint rate#
The percentage of recipients who report your email as spam. It should stay below 0.1%.
Analyze a specific newsletter#
For each sent newsletter, you can view:
